Israeli company Axon Vision a developer of advanced artificial intelligence solutions for defense applications, today announced that it has received an order from an Israeli defense customer valued at up to approximately NIS 3 million. The order expands an existing engagement involving the Company’s EdgeISR system, which supports intelligence-gathering and target-acquisition missions in aerial applications.
The order comprises an initial NIS 1 million commitment, together with customer options for up to an additional NIS 2 million, exercisable through the end of the year. Delivery of the solution is expected to take place over the next 12 months.
The order expands previous activity with the customer and reflects its satisfaction with the system’s capabilities and the operational value demonstrated to date. The order also marks another important step in the growth of Axon Vision’s activity in the aerial domain and in the operational implementation of advanced AI capabilities developed for the modern battlefield.
EdgeISR is designed for intelligence, target-acquisition, and decision-support missions involving aerial platforms. Using advanced AI algorithms, the system processes electro-optical sensor feeds in real time to detect, classify, and track targets and threats, providing operators with actionable intelligence for target acquisition and decision-making.
The system is part of Axon Vision’s Edge AI family of solutions, designed for integration with existing military platforms and to transform sensor data into actionable operational intelligence. In the aerial domain, these capabilities are intended for manned and unmanned platforms and address the growing operational need to shorten the time from target detection and identification through decision-making to operational response.
