DENVER – November 4, 2026 /Business Wire/ – Voyager Technologies (NYSE: VOYG) was awarded a new contract to manage NASA’s High school students United with NASA to Create Hardware (HUNCH) program for the next five years at a value of $35M, extending the management role Voyager has held since 2021.

“Human spaceflight operations run on skilled people, and we’re building that pipeline,” said Matt Magaña, president, Space, Defense & National Security, Voyager. “We’re advancing workforce development with HUNCH and strengthening the operational foundation we’re scaling from the International Space Station to future commercial platforms like Starlab.”

HUNCH provides high school students with hands-on experience designing and fabricating hardware used by NASA, with a facility in Webster, Texas, and a new location at Voyager’s facility in Long Beach, California. To date, HUNCH has engaged more than 24,000 students from more than 1,700 schools in 46 states.

Voyager provides engineering and program support to bridge the gap between student innovation and operational space missions. More than 3,000 student-created items have flown to the International Space Station.

“Many students get their first real look at spaceflight through the HUNCH program,” said Scott Rodriguez, vice president of Government Programs, Voyager. “With the support of Voyager, these students are solving real problems for NASA while learning the skills that can make them future assets to the industry.”

Voyager’s support of HUNCH builds a skilled pipeline of engineers, technicians and operators for civil, commercial and national security missions. The program aligns with Voyager’s broader mission management capabilities and their efforts to grow a sustainable commercial space economy.
