Griffin-1 Completes Acceptance Testing, Passing Major Milestone Ahead of Lunar Launch

DENVER – October 13, 2026 /Business Wire/ – Voyager Technologies (NYSE: VOYG) announced Griffin Mission One (Griffin-1), the company’s infrastructure-class lunar lander, successfully completed acceptance testing, a critical milestone on the path to its targeted launch to the Moon in late 2026.

“Griffin-1 marks a turning point for commercial lunar infrastructure,” said Dylan Taylor, Chairman and CEO, Voyager. “We are an enabler in building the transportation layer for the lunar economy: the logistics, access and systems that make sustained operations on the Moon possible. When Griffin touches down, it will be the largest commercial payload delivery in lunar history. The team has put years of work into this mission, and we are focused on getting Griffin to the Moon and putting that capability to work.”

Acceptance testing verified Griffin-1’s systems performance and confirmed the spacecraft’s readiness for the next phase of launch preparation. The mission will carry 10 payloads from six countries to the lunar South Pole, including payloads from NASA, the European Space Agency and other commercial partners.

Griffin-1 is now returning to Voyager’s Lunar Systems headquarters in Pittsburgh, where the team will complete final preparations ahead of shipment to Cape Canaveral, Florida for launch.

“Completing integration and environmental testing on a mission this complex reflects the quality and discipline of the team,” said John Thornton, executive vice president, Voyager. “Every payload on Griffin’s manifest represents a customer and a capability, and each contributes to the operational knowledge base we need to make the Moon a place where people can reliably live and work. That’s the foundation we’re here to deliver.”

Griffin‑1 was developed through NASA’s Commercial Lunar Payload Services initiative and will now be part of Moon Base Phase I objectives. The lander is designed to support a range of future lunar operations, including the delivery of rovers, science instruments and other infrastructure. Its capabilities are intended to help lay the groundwork for future lunar infrastructure, including power systems that can advance the knowledge, technologies and capabilities needed to develop an enduring human presence on the Moon.
