Friedeburg, Germany – 6 July 2026. Wings Capital Management LLC (United Arab Emirates) and Blue Skies Aviation Solutions (Pvt) Ltd (Sri Lanka) have signed a pre-order agreement with MD Aircraft GmbH to secure production slots for ten all-electric MDA1 eViatorTM aircraft, showing their comittment to introduce zero-emission regional air mobility across South Asia and the Asia-Pacific region. The agreement was signed in early July 2026 by representatives of all three organizations.
Advancing Sustainable Aviation Across South Asia and the Asia-Pacific
The agreement establishes Blue Skies Aviation as the operating partner responsible for deploying and maintaining the aircraft and ensuring carbon free operations for its existing customer base, and at the same time establishess Wings Capital Management as a go-to financing partner for South Asian operators looking to acquire and operate MD Aircrafts all electric eViator. Once certified, these first 10 aircraft are expected to enter service in Sri Lanka and the Maldives.
