Auterion-Airlogix joint venture produces first Anubis and Seth X airframes, starting serial delivery of more than 5,000 systems under a German government contract
MUNICH, Germany, September 3, 2026. For the first time, heavy strike drones are being mass-produced on German soil. The Auterion-Airlogix joint venture has completed its first airframes and started serial production of more than 5,000 systems under a contract funded by the German government. The order covers Seth X, a medium-range strike system, and Anubis, a heavy strike system.
The production line adds a capability Germany’s industrial base has not had before: precision strike capacity manufactured domestically, at scale, on the cost curve of consumer electronics supply chains rather than traditional missile programs. Each system costs a fraction of the munitions it replaces.
The joint venture was established in February 2026 with the backing of the German and Ukrainian governments and moved from founding to first airframes in six months. The speed comes from building on airframe designs refined through years of operational use instead of launching new development programs. Existing designs, an existing software stack, and German manufacturing capacity: that combination keeps unit cost low and delivery dates firm.
Both platforms run Auterion’s software, including AI-guided terminal navigation, GNSS-denied operation, and enable the upgrade to future swarm coordination through Nemyx. A human operator designates every target; the software automates execution after that decision. Every system leaves the line ready to operate in contested electronic environments.
