Las Vegas, NV – January 5, 2026 – At CES 2026, entrepreneur, technologist, artist and futurist will.i.am unveils TRINITY—a next‑generation micromobility platform that aligns Human + Vehicle + Agent, powered by NVIDIA DGX Spark technology.
TRINITY is both the company and the vehicle: an all‑electric, self‑balancing, single‑passenger 3‑wheeler designed to show what happens when an AI agent becomes the organizing brain for life on the move.
“TRINITY represents the future of micromobility — where humans, vehicles, and AI agents work together seamlessly,” said will.i.am. “With NVIDIA DGX Spark as its AI brain, TRINITY delivers conversational, goal-tracking workflows that transform how people interact with mobility in connected cities. It’s brains on wheels, designed from the agent up.”
Backers on Kickstarter, the leading crowdfunding and launch platform, will be the first to receive access to the opportunity to purchase a TRINITY vehicle.
A New Kind of Micromobility
TRINITY is a driver‑centric, all‑electric 3‑wheel vehicle—not a robo‑taxi or self‑driving pod. The human always drives; the AI thinks, tracks, and orchestrates.
Key attributes:
- Form factor: Self‑balancing, single‑passenger 3‑wheel EV
- Performance: 0–60 mph in under 2 seconds; top speed engineered to 120 mph
- Range: About 150 miles all‑electric
- Dynamics: DEKA self‑balancing technology for bike‑like agility with car‑like stability
- Experience: Weatherproof cabin, climate control, luxury interior and studio grade Audio
- Agentic Sound: Integrated SoundDrive, FYI RAiDiO for an AI‑tuned audio experience
- Agentic Vision gives TRINITY artificial self‑awareness, allowing it to interpret and reason about the world it sees
- Agentic OS: the agent allows for Apps to talk to Apps (Spotify with Calendar, and Email with Maps simultaneously)

Kickstarter campaign for TRINITY launching January 2026
TRINITY is targeted as a high‑design, urban‑first vehicle, with an initial limited-edition production run planned at 500 units and first deliveries aimed for August 2027. Through a Kickstarter campaign, backers will have the opportunity to participate in a pre-order interest program, which is designed to offer priority consideration for a potential future opportunity to purchase TRINITY, with pricing currently anticipated to be under $30K. More details will be available on the Kickstarter pre-launch page this month.
“As crowdfunding has evolved, creators and companies have expanded how they use Kickstarter – embracing it as a strategic, community-centric way to launch new products. Products that debut on Kickstarter are launching in front of a global audience that values being early – people who take pride in being the first to discover, support and champion what’s next. We’re honored to see will.i.am recognize the marketing power of Kickstarter and choose our platform as a key part of TRINITY’s launch strategy alongside their debut with NVIDIA at CES. We can’t wait to see how our community responds to the opportunity to be among the first to get their hands on it. Kickstarter has long been at the forefront of innovation, and TRINITY joins a legacy of category-defining tech that chose Kickstarter as their launchpad.” said Everette Taylor, CEO of Kickstarter.
NVIDIA-Powered Agentic Operator: “Brains on Wheels”
Instead of focusing on self‑driving autonomy, TRINITY is built around an Agentic Operator—leveraging NVIDIA DGX Spark as the “brains” of the system for AI inference of the real-time vision language model (VLM) workloads, which sends environmental awareness information to the RAiDiO infotainment system that turns traditional radio into conversational audio experiences.
“Artists have always pushed technology until it becomes a new instrument,” said Richard Kerris, NVIDIA VP/GM of Media. “With agentic AI running on NVIDIA DGX Spark, TRINITY turns that instrument into something you can take with you—an intelligent collaborator that helps you capture ideas, shape experiences, and realize a vision in ways that simply weren’t possible before.”
The Agentic Operator:
● Harnesses MCP protocols and n8n automations
● Handles multitasking and goal‑tracking
● Runs conversational workflows that span in‑cabin and in‑the‑world actions
From the driver’s perspective, the agent feels like a workflow wizard riding shotgun—managing calendars, errands, communications, and cloud services through natural conversation while the human stays focused on driving.
“TRINITY is a next‑gen micromobility platform that aligns Human, Vehicle, and Agent, using NVIDIA as its AI brain to run conversational, goal‑tracking workflows for more of a connected urban experience,” said will.i.am. “It’s brains on wheels, built from the agent up.”
Built with DEKA and West Coast Customs
TRINITY has been in development for three years, personally funded by will.i.am, with a tight team of world‑class collaborators:
- DEKA Research & Development – providing self‑balancing and robotics expertise
- Ryan Friedlinghaus and West Coast Customs (WCC) – bringing iconic design language and build execution
- This trio combines frontier engineering, custom‑car craft, and AI‑first thinking into one micromobility platform
“Teaming up with will.i.am on TRINITY is a mission that the DEKA team is deeply committed to, and we’re proud to be part of the development team behind an entirely new category of personal transportation.” said Dean Kamen, Founder of DEKA Research & Development Corporation. “DEKA’s top engineers rose to the challenge, adapting the architecture and controls approach underlying our original design for the Segway to deliver the next-gen micro-mobility vehicle. What excites me even more is the opportunity to establish an entirely new type of robotics university, one that combines a Built-In-The-USA manufacturing facility with a teaching & apprenticeship program. This new university can grow a skilled workforce in an underserved community, transforming lives, and uplifting the local economy.”
Ryan Friedlinghaus, Founder and CEO of West Coast Customs had this to say about this game-changing build, “Being that will.i.amis a long-time client and friend, when he approached us about the TRINITY project three years ago, we knew that this build would truly break ground within both the technology and automotive sectors. His projects always require our master craftsman to push their skills beyond convention to create something that is truly one-of-one. We are so honored will.i.am allowed us to be a part of another of one of his masterpieces – turning his creative vision for a futuristic single-passenger vehicle into reality!”

American Dynamism: Inner City Manufacturing starting in Boyle Heights
TRINITY is more than a vehicle; it’s a community project grounded in what will.i.am calls AMERICAN DYNAMISM.
The plan is to manufacture TRINITY vehicles in Boyle Heights, Los Angeles, in a facility that is both:
- A manufacturing plant for TRINITY’s initial, limited edition 500‑vehicle run
- A “university” for autonomy, robotics, and agentic systems—training local residents in advanced manufacturing and Agentic workflow engineering
Leveraging the work that his i.am Angel Foundation does, teaching 15,000+ students STEAM and robotics skills in partnership with Los Angeles Unified Schools and hundreds of Los Angeles-area robotics clubs organized by FIRST Robotics (founded by Dean Kamen), will.i.am will tap program graduates and the robotics club community as part of the ramp-up effort.
By situating high‑tech production and education in an underrepresented neighborhood, TRINITY aims to turn cutting‑edge mobility into a channel for community uplifting, future preparation, and contribution to an awesome tomorrow.
