ViaSat-3 Flight 2 (VS-3 F2) – the second of three VS-3 satellites – is scheduled to launch from Space Launch Complex 41 (SLC-41) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida. The mission is planned for no earlier than Wednesday, November 5, 2025, pending range approval.
It will liftoff aboard an Atlas V 551 rocket provided by United Launch Alliance (ULA) from Space Launch Complex-41 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida. The launch is scheduled for 10:24 p.m. EST at the opening of a 44-minute window.
The ViaSat-3 F2 launch campaign has continued to complete significant milestones in the lead up to launch. The Viasat, ULA and Boeing teams on the ground in Cape Canaveral continue their important work preparing for a successful launch of ViaSat-3 F2, despite the continued weather challenges that Florida has experienced over the past few weeks.
Once in service, VS-3 F2 is expected to more than double the bandwidth capacity of Viasat’s entire existing fleet and marks a significant milestone in Viasat’s satellite roadmap.
