This week, Dawn of Autonomy closes “Ecosystem” month, sponsored by Airwise Solutions, with Tobin Fisher, CEO and co-founder of Vantage Robotics, joining Dawn for a conversation about building small UAS and bringing new capabilities to defense, law enforcement, and international customers.
Under Tobin’s leadership, Vantage has launched three major drones and two ground control products, shipping thousands of units worldwide. Its customers span every branch of the U.S. Department of Defense, law enforcement agencies in every state, and 11 allied governments. The discussion will explore the experience behind that growth and what it takes to turn technical innovation into products that serve real-world needs.
Tobin brings two decades of experience leading high-tech startups and designing consumer products, along with 26 patents for his design innovations. Drawing on his background in software, energy technology, and robotics, he’ll share his perspective on product development, entrepreneurship, and the challenges of building and scaling a drone company.
Tune in for a conversation about small UAS innovation, lessons from bringing new products to market, and the role of technology and entrepreneurship in advancing the autonomy ecosystem.
