As the North American subsidiary of Dutch radar manufacturer Robin Radar Systems, Robin Radar USA supports the deployment of IRIS, the company’s 3D drone detection and classification radar. Based in Loudoun County, Virginia, the organization serves customers across homeland security, law enforcement, military, civil aviation, and defense OEM sectors.
Kris is responsible for building Robin Radar’s presence in North America—from establishing the U.S. organization and its new headquarters to leading the team that supports IRIS deployments for mission-critical drone detection and classification needs.
A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, where he played Division I football, Kris began his leadership career in the U.S. Marine Corps as a communications and cybersecurity officer with 2nd Marine Division. He was selected to lead a 62-Marine detachment during the opening phase of Operation Iraqi Freedom, supporting the networks relied on by 1st Marine Division. He later served at Headquarters Marine Corps C4 at the Pentagon, where he led Joint Blue Force Situational Awareness efforts, commanded the USMC contingent at Combined Endeavor, and briefed NATO on coalition interoperability following Iraq.
Over the past two decades, Kris has built and led teams bringing emerging technology to government customers. His experience includes leadership roles at Harris, Inmarsat Government, and Clearspeed, where he helped establish and grow U.S. government business operations and supported federal research initiatives.
