Future Flight Global Joins FAA’s First Nationwide  Push to Put eVTOL Aircraft in Real Airspace

Future Flight Global envisions next‑generation eVTOL aircraft operating from desert vertiports, as the company joins Utah’s FAA eVTOL Integration Pilot Program to prove real‑world cargo, medical, and regional air mobility operations across five states.

FFG joins landmark federal program to advance cargo, medical, and regional air mobility operations  across Utah and four surrounding states

Washington, D.C. – March 12, 2025 – Future Flight Global (FFG), a pioneer in the adoption,  implementation, and integration of advanced air transportation, today announced its selection as  an operator partner in the Federal Aviation Administration’s eVTOL Integration Pilot Program  (eIPP) for the Utah-led multi-state initiative. The landmark program, unveiled by U.S.  Transportation Secretary Sean P. Duffy and the FAA, represents one of the largest real-world  testing environments for next-generation aircraft ever assembled in the United States.

The eIPP was established under President Trump’s “Unleashing Drone Dominance” Executive  Order and is designed to accelerate the safe integration of Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) aircraft  into the National Airspace System. Eight projects spanning 26 states were selected from more  than 30 proposals submitted nationwide. Operations under the program are expected to begin by  summer 2026, with data collected used by the FAA to develop new regulations enabling AAM  technology at scale.

FFG’s Role in the Utah Program

The Utah program, led by the Utah Department of Transportation, is one of the most  geographically ambitious initiatives in the eIPP. It spans five states across the Pacific Northwest,  Rocky Mountains, and Plains of Oklahoma, testing a wide range of next-generation aircraft and  operational concepts in urban areas, rural corridors, mountainous terrain, and wildfire-prone  regions.

FFG will serve as an operator partner alongside BETA Technologies, Ampaire, Joby Aviation, and  other industry leaders. The program will encompass cargo and medical logistics to rural  communities, emergency response operations, and passenger transportation—demonstrating the  versatility of AAM technology in some of the nation’s most demanding operating environments.

Utah Governor Spencer Cox highlighted the state’s role, noting that the partnership positions Utah  at the forefront of next-generation aviation technology while creating new opportunities for  economic growth, research, and workforce development.

“Being selected for the Utah eIPP program is a powerful validation of the operator-led model that  FFG has been building from day one,” said Karan Singh, CEO and Founder of Future Flight  Global. “Utah’s program is uniquely compelling because of the diversity of its operating

environments—from high-altitude mountain corridors to remote rural communities. This is where  advanced air mobility proves its real-world value, and FFG is ready to deliver.”

Advancing FFG’s U.S. Operations Strategy

FFG’s eIPP selection builds on the company’s expanding U.S. footprint and deepening  partnerships with leading aircraft manufacturers and infrastructure providers. The company has  established strategic relationships with BETA Technologies, Archer Aviation, Eve Air Mobility,  Skyway, ANRA Technologies, and UrbanV, among others, positioning FFG as a comprehensive  AAM operator and integrator across multiple platforms and use cases.

Across its three core verticals—Operations, Integration, and Innovation—FFG, along with its  ecosystem partners, delivers an end-to-end solution encompassing aircraft deployment and  management, infrastructure and maintenance, training, and digital airspace management. The  Utah eIPP program will serve as a critical operational proving ground for this integrated approach,  generating real-world data and experience that will inform FFG’s broader domestic and  international expansion.

“The eIPP is exactly the kind of structured, safety-first framework the industry needs to move from  demonstration to deployment,” said Toni Drummond, Managing Director and Co-Founder of  Future Flight Global. “Utah’s terrain and geography will push the boundaries of what AAM can  do. We’re honored to be part of this program and to help prove that safe, sustainable air mobility  is not years away—it’s happening now.”

About the eVTOL Integration Pilot Program

The eIPP is a first-of-its-kind initiative mandated under President Trump’s “Unleashing Drone  Dominance” Executive Order. Eight projects were selected across 26 states, encompassing  operational concepts that include urban air taxi services, regional passenger transportation, cargo  and logistics networks, emergency medical response operations, autonomous flight technologies,  and offshore energy-sector transportation. Data from the pilot projects will be used by the FAA to  develop new regulations that safely enable advanced air mobility at scale. Operations are  expected to begin by summer 2026.
