eVTOL Insights has released its final Special Report of 2025, which celebrates and recognises emerging talent in the global Advanced Air Mobility market.

The “Ones to Watch Special Report 2025” from eVTOL Insights recognizes the next generation of talent in the global Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) market.

Key points about the report:

  • The report celebrates individuals who are turning ambitious visions into operational reality as the AAM sector transitions from prototypes to scalable commercial solutions.
  • Each person was nominated by colleagues for their technical expertise, curiosity, resilience, and capacity to lead.
  • The featured professionals’ contributions span various disciplines, including electric propulsion, autonomy, airspace integration, sustainability, infrastructure, and regulation.

The individuals featured in the “Ones to Watch 2025 Alumni” are:

  • Faraaz Ahmend, Flight Controls Engineer, Horizon Aircraft. He plays a pivotal role in developing and refining the flight control systems for Horizon’s Cavorite X7 eVTOL aircraft.
  • Max Yergan, VP Investments, Space Leasing International (SLI). He is working to bring structured finance to the AAM industry and his company, SLI, has a firm purchase order for 25 BETA Technologies’ ALIA CX300 fully electric aircraft.
  • Pere Llorenc Martinez, Airworthiness & Safety Director, Embention. His efforts led Embention to become the first company specializing in drone autopilots to obtain both APDOA and POA certifications from EASA in 2025.
  • Sandro Salguiero, Senior Airspace Integration Engineer, SkyGrid. He leads research on integrating highly automated aircraft into the global airspace system and has been instrumental in the thought leadership for Automated Flight Rules (AFR).
  • Sergey Rudomyotov, Chief Architect, URBI SKY. He authored the aerodynamic morphology of the Alatau Vertiport concept, aiming to elevate the typology from helipad-like infrastructure to a multi-level aerocomplex.
  • Shawn Falzone, Flight Control System, Navigation, and Mechanical Integration Lead, Wisk. He manages cross-functional engineering efforts to integrate flight control and navigation hardware, software, and electronics for safe, high-performance autonomous flight.
  • Uwe Kiesewetter, Chief Engineer, Odys Aviation. He oversees aircraft development for Odys Aviation’s Laila and Alta platforms and previously served as Chief Engineer of the CityAirbus program.
  • Veronica Reczek, Senior Vertiport Planner at Skyports Infrastructure. She is a rising star in the AAM sector, playing a pivotal role in designing and delivering the next generation of vertiports globally.
  • Yuliya Zolotykh, Founder, URBI SKY. She is an emerging AAM leader in Central Asia who built URBI SKY into a dedicated vertiport engineering and integration practice, initiating the Alatau Vertiport concept.
