Israeli satellite intelligence pioneer ImageSat International (ISI) has launched a breakthrough in real-time space-based intelligence with its RUNNER satellite, which has been operational for over three years. RUNNER’s new advanced embedded AI marks the world’s first satellite system offering continuous, live movement tracking from orbit, revolutionizing defense intelligence, urban management, infrastructure monitoring and disaster response applications.

Unlike traditional satellites that deliver only static imagery, RUNNER provides dynamic, actionable intelligence by instantly mapping, classifying and tracking movements, even at night or through cloud cover. This real-time capability enables immediate, informed decisions for military and commercial users who require up-to-the-minute situational awareness.

ISI’s custom multi-sensor architecture, advanced image stabilization and fault-tolerant hardware have been refined from decades of satellite operations. RUNNER carries eight onboard GPUs, which allows its AI agents to analyze movement types and operational zones within seconds. This turns raw data into mission-ready insights seamlessly shared within existing operational networks.

What sets ISI apart is its proprietary intelligence archive, enhanced by generative AI trained solely on decades of unique mission data. ISI is the world’s first satellite operator to deploy such purpose-built AI models in orbit, turning every new observation into enriched intelligence for clients worldwide.

“RUNNER changes the rules for satellite intelligence,” said Noam Segal, CEO of ISI. “For the first time, analysts and operators receive real-time dynamic tracking, embedded AI, and instant access to actual intelligence data, tailored for mission needs and delivered with unmatched speed. This is a true game changer for global defense and commercial users.”
