Digital Force Technologies and Powerus Partner to Deliver Integrated Kinetic Counter-UAS Capability

Strategic collaboration combines mission-proven C2 software and interceptor drone technology to create a full kill-chain solution for Group 1–3 UAS threats

San Diego, CA, and West Palm Beach, FL., Tuesday, April 7, 2026 — Digital Force Technologies (DFT), a defense technology company specializing in the development and manufacturing of advanced sensing systems, and Powerus, a U.S.-based autonomous systems company building next-generation drone infrastructure for defense and critical infrastructure, today announced a strategic partnership to deliver a fully integrated counter-UAS kill-chain designed to address the rapidly evolving threat of Group 1–3 unmanned aerial systems.

The partnership brings together Powerus’ advanced interceptor drone technology and DFT’s mission-proven Seraphim command-and-control platform into a unified operational capability spanning detection, tracking, decision-making, and kinetic defeat. The result is a modular, full-stack counter-UAS solution built to increase response speed, reduce operator burden, and improve mission effectiveness in contested environments.

The initial integrated capability is designed to deliver immediate operational value through a system that can be rapidly deployed, quickly learned, and readily adapted to evolving mission demands. Over time, the collaboration will introduce additional layers of autonomy to enhance usability, improve engagement efficiency, and support more scalable operations across diverse operational scenarios.

As unmanned threats continue to evolve in speed, scale, and complexity, the companies are focused on delivering a capability that keeps pace with the fight rather than forcing operators to rely on outdated architectures or disconnected systems.

“A highly successful counter-UAS defeat chain relies on adaptable kinetic solutions matched with command and control software that work together to be part of an evolving system,” Justin Maclaurin, President and CEO of Digital Force Technologies. “Cheap, disposable weapons allow enemies in today’s conflict to continuously shift attack strategies. Allies need a system that is designed to physically and technologically match and surpass enemy fighters while quickly adapting to emerging threats. That’s what our partnership with Powerus brings to the table.”

At the core of the integrated capability is DFT’s Seraphim platform, which fuses sensing, tracking, and command-and-control into a single operational framework built for rapid response in contested environments. Designed to help operators detect threats sooner, make faster decisions, and coordinate kinetic effects more effectively, Seraphim gives the warfighter a more agile and adaptable counter-UAS capability against one-way attack drones, loitering munitions, and other evolving aerial threats.

“While others are adapting to yesterday’s threats, we’re already building for tomorrow’s fight. Discussions with military operators and U.S. Department of War stakeholders directly informed the immediate need for development of this capability and exposed a clear gap today’s counter-drone solutions, which aren’t keeping pace with how quickly threats are evolving,” said Brett Velicovich, Powerus Co-Founder. “Powerus is developing mission-ready interceptor systems built for speed, scale, and real-world combat conditions. Our partnership with Digital Force Technologies looks to bring together sensors and interceptors into a single operational framework, positioning America one step ahead of adversaries and ready for the next phase of drone warfare.”

Together, DFT and Powerus are establishing a new standard for kinetic counter-UAS defense with a solution that is modular, rapidly deployable, and ready to evolve alongside the threat.
