infiniDome Unveils AURA: Advanced Counter-Drone GNSS Protection for UAVs

Aura can mitigate interference from up to three directions simultaneously.

Israeli defense technology firm infiniDome has launched Aura, a next-generation GNSS anti-jamming system designed to safeguard autonomous platforms from the growing threat of GPS interference. Global incidents of GNSS jamming continue to surge. In Europe and the Middle East, over 400 such incidents have occurred just in the past two years. With this backdrop, Aura arrives as a critical solution for drones, vehicles and autonomous systems that cannot afford to lose navigation in contested environments.

The Armor of Navigation Resilience

infiniDome engineered Aura to address the vulnerabilities exposed by modern electronic warfare (EW), where adversaries increasingly target navigation systems to disrupt operations. The system leverages years of field-proven experience by integrating smarter algorithms and faster interference response mechanisms. Its compact, rugged design ensures reliable performance even in the most demanding scenarios, from battlefield uncrewed aerial vehicles (UAVs) to commercial autonomous vehicles.

The platform comes in two configurations:

  • Aura, an enclosed version for rapid deployment
  • AuraCore, an OEM module for seamless integration into existing systems.

This flexibility allows operators to deploy mission-grade protection across a wide range of platforms, from small drones to large autonomous vehicles.

Advanced Protection Against Multi-Directional Jamming

Aura can mitigate interference from up to three directions simultaneously. This multi-directional capability ensures that even in environments saturated with jamming signals, navigation will remain uninterrupted. The system’s enhanced null-depth performance allows it to withstand much higher jamming power. A new Saving Power Mode dynamically reduces energy consumption when no interference is present, which optimizes operational efficiency.

Aura’s adaptive algorithms continuously analyze incoming signals to detect and counter jamming threats in real time. Its proprietary signal filtering technology, combined with ultra-low latency (100ns ±15ns), ensures that platforms maintain precise navigation and command links even under severe jamming conditions.

Mission-Ready Design for Modern Battlefields

The system’s optimized SWaP-C (size, weight, power and cost) design keeps it lightweight and low-power, which makes it ideal for integration into a variety of mission profiles. Aura is compatible with most GNSS receivers and active antennas, and its IP65 waterproof rating ensures durability in harsh environments. The automotive temperature grade (-40 to +71°C) further enhances its reliability across diverse operational conditions.

Omer Sharar, CEO of infiniDome Solutions, emphasized that Aura represents a new philosophy in navigation protection. “It takes everything we’ve learned from real-world interference events and transforms it into a smarter, faster and more adaptive layer of defense. With Aura, we’re not just protecting GPS. We’re protecting autonomy itself,” he emphasized.

The Strategic Importance of GNSS Security

As GNSS interference becomes the new normal, the need for robust navigation protection is no longer optional. It’s essential. Aura’s deployment ensures that critical missions, whether in defense, border security or commercial operations, can continue uninterrupted, despite sophisticated electronic threats. By safeguarding navigation, Aura helps protect individual platforms but, more importantly, entire business models and operational continuity.
